Represented a Florida construction company, specializing in contracting and construction management services, in disputes arising from the construction of a five-star luxury hotel on the beach on Key Biscayne, Florida. The client was in arbitration as a defendant to the developer’s claim for delays and consequential damages. We defended the developer’s claim and prosecuted the client's counterclaim. After 51 hearing days, the arbitrators returned an award denying the developer’s claim in its entirety and awarding the client on the counterclaim plus attorneys’ fees.
