Jeff Benson concentrates his practice on commercial real estate, including development, zoning and land use, leasing and real estate finance. In financing transactions, Mr. Benson has represented both borrowers and lenders in a variety of construction and permanent financing projects and has assisted clients in establishing private placement funds.
Mr. Benson was recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® for Real Estate Law in 2012 and the five years immediately preceding. He is listed in the 2009, 2010 and 2011 editions of Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business for Real Estate Law and has been named a North Carolina "Super Lawyer" in Real Estate by SuperLawyers magazine every year since 2006. He was named to Business North Carolina's 2009 and 2012 "Legal Elite" list for Real Estate Law. In 2003, Mr. Benson was selected by Triangle Business Journal for its "40 Under 40" list that recognizes outstanding Research Triangle leaders under 40 years of age and in 2008 was awarded the community leadership "Movers and Shakers" award by Business Leader Magazine.
